Clay Ford
Meet Clay Ford
For his entire life, Clay has been a dog person. He grew up living with many different dog breeds, which gave him a great perspective on the different temperaments and inner workings of canine behavior.
Clay’s dog training career began in 2016 when working with military working dogs in the Marine Corps, where he spent all of his free time in the kennels learning how to train dogs.
After the military, Clay continued his education and experience by continuing to train and attending seminars. He also studied biochemistry at Oregon State University, before heading to Highland Canine’s International School for Dog Trainers to complete his Master Dog Trainer certification. The Master Dog Trainer program is an intensive, six-month program of study which encompasses all aspects of dog training.
In his dog training career, Clay has worked with well over a thousand dogs, covering disciplines from pet dogs, service dogs, Police K9, military working dogs, and dog sports.
